The National Restaurant Association of India is all set to host the NRAI Indian Restaurant Summit 2023 in Kolkata. The City of Joy is ready to be the venue of this remarkable conference this year. The grand event is a clarion call for everyone to understand the significant contribution and hold of the humongous restaurant industry to the economic landscape growth of India.

  • The conference is all set to take place on September 21 and 22, 2023.
  • Senior speakers and respected guests from different places are going to attend the 2-day event.
  •  Most of these guests and speakers represent hundreds and thousands of restaurants from different cities and parts of India.
  • The panel discussion for the first day of NRAI Indian Restaurant Summit 2023 is “Building a Brand for India versus Bharat: How is it different?”.
  • The second day is going to be about the Annual General Meeting of the summit. Chef Sanjeev Kapoor is going to begin the day with a keynote address.

Who Are Going To Attend The Conference?

A guest panel of esteemed personalities is gracing the event with their presence. Some of the guests are Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Chef Kunal Kapur, Zorawar Kalra, Vicky Ratnani, Ankur Jain (Founder & CEO, Bira), and Matt Chitharanjan (Co-Founder and CEO of Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters).

Kabir Suri, President & Founder of Azure Hospitality, expressed his thoughts about this event. He said how the event aims to galvanise government support for streamlining the restaurant business landscape. It recognises the potential as an integral pillar of the country’s economic progress. The unifying window for licenses and GST Input from the government are the main agenda drivers for this summit.

Sagar J Daryani, the Vice President of NRAI & Founder of Wow! Momo, shared how NRAI’s single-minded agenda has been to be inclusive & add value to more and more members across India. He shared “We are gradually looking at evolving the industry learnings outside of Delhi & Mumbai. In the past 2 we have nurtured close to 21 key chapters in the country.” He emphasised how there are plans to host grand events in Chennai, Bengaluru, or Bhopal.
