Street Vendor In Kolkata Makes Scrambled Eggs With Coca-Cola
In a now-viral video, a Kolkata street vendor is seen making scrambled eggs in Coke. The video was shared by food blogger Street Food Journey (@streetfoodjourn3y) and it shows a man shaking a can of Coca-Cola before emptying it in a hot pan. As the drink starts boiling, he goes on to wear a shirt and break six eggs in the pan to make scrambled eggs. He also adds a bit of Coke to the cooking eggs.
While the eggs are cooking on the stove, he goes on to chop a few pieces of onion and green chillies. He then adds them to the cooked scrambled eggs. He also garnishes the eggs with a few slices of tomato on top and serves it hot to the customers. As per the post’s caption, the scrambled eggs cooked in Coke cost about ₹100. The video has amassed over 4.5 million views so far.
