The combination of Shilpa Shetty, Seema from the film ‘Baazigar,’ and Kusha Kapila, the OG Billi Mausi of the Internet, is bomb dot com. This duo is extremely hilarious and we thoroughly enjoyed filming this fascinating episode of Sunday Brunch at Cream Centre with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani. A girl who was born and brought up in New Delhi and a girl who has been living in Mumbai since her childhood days and a debate about Mumbai v/s Delhi food between the two was bound to ignite flames. Kusha Kapila And Shilpa Shetty Debate Mumbai v/s Delhi Food
Kusha Kapila has made it clear that she would not participate in the never-ending food battle between the metropolitan cities of Delhi and Mumbai. The very first topic that comes to mind when someone from Delhi and someone from Mumbai meet is food, especially street food. It is as if the air pollution, the traffic, confined spaces, extremely high rents and more don’t bother them. Food bothers them the most. We had to touch up on this factor.
We pulled a classic move with our guests by teasing them over the ongoing war between the cities of Mumbai and Delhi. Kamiya cheekily said that she has agreed to the fact that Mumbai’s food is better than Delhi’s. To which Kusha Kapila replied, “Maine aisa kuch nahi kaha hai.” (I never said anything like that.) Upon hearing what Kamiya said, Shilpa Shetty was astonished and remarked that she would end up getting trolled by Delhiites. Kamiya couldn’t help but laugh out loud!

Finally, Kusha Kapila cleared the air very cunningly and without taking any sides. She started by saying that one should enjoy Delhi food when in Delhi and Mumbai food when in Mumbai. This is the way to go. All the people who travel between these cities regularly and are asked to participate in this battle, you now have an answer. Mumbaikars and Delhiites, please shake hands on this.
Shilpa Went On To Tease Her A Little More
Just as Kusha Kapila declared that she was not going to be biased, Shilpa Shetty asked her, “Toh tum ho kya, Delhi wali item ya Mumbai wali item?” Kusha very coyly answered that she could be a representative of both states. For this, Shilpa teased her more by laughing out loud and elbowing her.
Kusha just gave up and asked him not to give her the difficult task of just picking one city. It appears like Kusha has now realized how difficult it is to be a Delhi-Mumbai girl all the time. It was only last year that she shifted to Mumbai from New Delhi for work prospects. Yet she will enjoy momos in Delhi and vada pav in Mumbai. We agree with you Kusha.
