Making The Process Easier

As per the ministry, the move aims to simplify the procedure for the public while also reducing pressure on service centres. So, basically, now expatriates can complete their passport data updates easily through the platform. As a result, this would make the process faster and more accessible. Not only this, but the officials also said that the service is a part of the wider effort to enhance digital government services and to streamline the administrative processes.

By expanding the online service, the ministry also aims to improve efficiency and deliver a smoother experience for residents with the help of the government platform.

This comes after Kuwait recently launched Ministerial Resolution No. 2249/2025, which officially implemented a major overhaul of the nation’s immigration system. The new service makes life easier for expats when it comes to visas and residency procedures.
