Keeping in mind her own experience during her trip to Lakshadweep, Tanya Khanijow posted some well-laid-out information and tips. In a series of posts, she explained all you need to know about and during your trip to the island.
First and foremost, she explained about the Protected Area Permit. She detailed all the requirements and the portal where you can apply for it. She further explained its validity and fees.

Activities To Indulge In, Accommodations & A Few Tips To Remember
Clearing all the basics, Tanya Khanijow further helped by mentioning transportation details like flights and inter-island ferry transfers. She even added a few accommodation options – depending on your budget.

– Flights: Delhi to Kochi- costs INR 12k (round trip).

Budget: Agatti Island has guesthouses for INR 1,500-2,500 per night.

Some Trivia That Will Help You In Lakshadweep
There are some taxes and few permits for non-Indians that you will have to pay here. She even shared some tips that might help you during your visit. So, take note.

– Permit: A mandatory ₹300 entry permit is required for non-Indians.
– Green Tax: ₹300 per person is levied upon arrival at Agatti airport.
