The Times Higher Education list of the top educational institutions in the world for 2024 is out. The UK-based education magazine releases an annual list of the best universities for higher education across the world. They recently released the list of World University Rankings 2024. For the eighth consecutive year, the University of Oxford has retained the top spot on this list. Read on to know which universities across the world made it to the top 10 list.
Oxford University Retains The Top Spot For The Eighth Time
University of Oxford, UK is one of the most prestigious and well-known educational institutions in the world! So, it comes as no surprise that for the eighth consecutive year, it was placed in the top position of World University Rankings 2024 by Times Higher Education.
The list ranks universities across the world on 18 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure a university’s performance. They are ranked in areas like teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook.
Times Higher Education researched and analysed 1,906 universities across 108 countries and regions to come up with this list. It is interesting to note that all top 10 universities on the list are from either the United Kingdom or the United States of America. However, one can notice the inclusion of universities from other parts of the world as the list goes on.
