London Restaurant’s Saag Milkshake Stuns Internet; Netizens Wonder, “What Next? Bhindi Pie?”

Once upon a time, food fusions were all about balancing different flavours to give people something so innovative that their taste buds will remember forever! Now, however, it has become a trend to see how outrageous one can get while mixing flavours. The latest one that will make you scratch your head? Saag Milkshake! Yes, you read that right!

Digital creator Pushpek Sidhu (@pushpeksidhu_) recently shared a reel of his reaction to Saag Milkshake, that is served at a London restaurant. The video starts with a voiceover questioning, “Have you tried our brand new Saag Milkshake?” This, just like most of us, left Pushpek absolutely confused.

The video then goes on to explain how the restaurant uses a generous scoop of “luxuriously creamy ice cream” and adds “pure organic, hand-stirred saag” to make the milkshake. Wait, there is more! After transferring it into a glass, the milkshake is then topped with fresh whipped cream and topped with some chopped coriander. Of course, this prompted Pushpek to ask, “Saag?! Have you lost your dimaag?!”

Now, we understand that this Saag Milkshake was most likely a prank beverage added to the restaurant’s menu to get the people talking. Honestly? We would have to give them some credit for making us almost fall for this outrageous drink!

Netizens Not Impressed With This Abomination

As you can imagine, joke or not, the Saag Milkshake has seriously offended the internet! From calling it an abomination to asking for jail sentences, people online were simply not impressed with this fusion of good ol’ saag with a milkshake. Some netizens, however, were intrigued to know how the milkshake would turn out since the saag used wasn’t like the salted one we usually use to make the winter must-have. Many of them wondered how different it could be from smoothies made with matcha and kale. Here are some comments you cannot miss out on.
