London is bustling and crowded with visitors from different corners of the world right now. So many visitors are enjoying their dreamy European vacation in the city. In between all these experiences and travel diaries, the city will be seeing rail strikes soon. This is about to create massive chaos and transportation issues. What Are The Dates Of London Tube Strikes? What Is The Reason Behind This?

The Rail, Maritime and Transport union made the announcement of holding strikes this July. It will be a 6-day long strike where the workers of the London Underground tube will be striking because of their work conditions, job cuts, and pensions. These tube walkouts on the London Underground will begin on 23 July and will continue till 28 July. A significant point to note here is that 24 July will see no strike actions, according to a report by Time Out.

The argument and rift between the Rail, Maritime and Transport union and Transport for London is nothing new. It is in continuation for a long time now and it has now extended this further. The London Underground tube workers are going on strikes because of their job cuts and more issues that they had to face. RMT union stated how all these job cuts can be a primary reason behind losing 600 jobs.

There has been no official announcement yet about the specific London tube lines where there will be no industrial action on the above-mentioned walkout dates. Different group of workers will be holding strikes on all these 6 days. Therefore, the affected lines will be changing accordingly to the worker groups striking on a specific day.

The shutdown of the London tube network will surely be quite a problem for both locals and tourists. A lot of people are dependent on tubes for their regular transportation and no proper services will certainly be an issue.
