Lucknow Has A Street Food Stall Serving “No Maida Momos”

Food vlogger, Darpan Khurana took to his Instagram handle @lifewithdarpan to share a reel of a street food vendor in Lucknow who sells healthy “No Maida Momos”. In the video, the woman running a stall in Lucknow named Desi With Korean Tadka said that people may be tired of having momos made of maida.

So, as a solution, she offers momos made of cabbage leaves. While cabbage is often used to prepare the filling, the woman says that cabbage can be used for the outer layering as well. The street food vendor adds the filling into cabbage cups and then rolls them into a nicely tucked envelope. Then, she places the cabbage cups filled with spiced fillings into the steamer. Once they are steamed, she serves the “No Maida Momos” for those who want the steamed variety.
