Paris has been decked up magnificently for the much-awaited Paris 2024 Olympics. Players representing their countries worldwide and spectators cheering for their favourite athletes have reached the French capital already. Paris witnessed a major power blackout amid the magnificent ceremonies, celebrations, and sporting extravaganza. The entire world’s eyes are on this city now, not only for the sporting events but for several other reasons and the power outage is one of them.

Power Outage Hit Paris

Pictures and videos of the recent shocking incident are circulating on social media platforms. Many Netizens are responding to it with a backlash.

According to all these posts on the Internet, the city suffered from this significant issue on Saturday with darkness surrounding from all around. Till now, there has been no official confirmation about the same from the official authorities. However, multiple reports claim that the breakout was reported in various districts in Paris. Multiple areas of the city were completely darkened due to the unexpected outage.

Paris has grabbed worldwide attention in the past few days for many reasons. One of the primary reasons is the beginning of the Olympic events along with extravagant celebrations, disruption of France’s high-speed rail network due to the arson attack, and unfortunate heavy rainfall in places. Massive downpours led to changes in the schedule of some events of the Olympics.

The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024 hosted on Friday received criticism from many people worldwide. In simple words, the international multi-sport event had quite a turbulent start with not one or two but several issues wreaking havoc one way or the other.
