JFK Airport Is Under Renovation
According to a report by Time Out, officials are requesting passengers to take the mass transit for transportation. Also, there are several lane closures at Bayonne Bridge, George Washington Bridge, Holland Tunnel, and Lincoln Tunnel. So it is important to remain updated about these traffic restrictions. Every passenger planning to catch a flight from JFK Airport in the next few days must have extra time in hand before entering the airport.
Due to the ongoing renovation project, they should leave their houses early to get enough time, especially this Friday. A recently released press release stated that the decisions for roadway changes have been announced for the smooth continuation of the construction project at JFK Airport. The recent project aims to revamp it into a world-class global gateway.
With the significant renovation project, the bustling airport in New York will get new terminals and offer enhanced facilities to travellers. The aim is to remodel it perfectly to provide the ultimate air travel experience to flyers catching flights from the airport or landing there.

Note These Important Points Before Travelling To This Airport
Till September 6, a westbound lane on the upper level will remain shut from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. During the same timeline, a westbound lane on the lower-level Trans-Manhattan Expressway towards the southbound Henry Hudson Parkway ramp will be shut. Also, an eastbound approach lane on the lower level will be closed till Friday. Its timing is from 10 AM to 3:30 PM.
The previous locations accommodated for vehicle pickups have now been changed. Passengers planning to catch a cab or any of these vehicle facilities must not visit the earlier location. Instead, they can ask the airport staff and find the exact relocated area to get a cab without facing any issues.
