In an Instagram story, Malaika Arora shared a picture of a crispy snack. And asked her fans to guess what she is eating. Malaika Arora was binging on nadru chips or lotus stem chips. It’s crispy, snackable and super delicious. Probably best for a movie night. But unlike other fried chips, nadru chips are healthier and wholesome. Grown in shallow water bodies, nadru is known to improve blood circulation and even manage blood pressure. Nadru is rich in Pyridoxine that is integral in improving heart health.

Prepare Nadru Chips At Home
To prepare lotus stem chips or nadru chips, all you need to do is wash it. Nest, peel and thinly slice the lotus stems. Before you fry it, dry it thoroughly so you can get a crispier result. Finally, rub some spices as per your taste on the nadru and fry it in hot oil. You’d know your lotus stem chips are ready when they are golden grown in colour. After frying, toss it in salt, chilli powder and chaat masala. And your bowl of Nadru chips is ready!
