Every year, these prestigious awards celebrate the best in travel, including hotels, destinations, airports, and other travel services. Global Travel Awards announced the winners on their official Instagram account and wrote, “Congratulations to this year’s winners.” Talking about the Best Travel Destination Worldwide, this award was given to the Maldives, and we are not surprised. The place is known for its stunning natural scenery, marine life, lagoons, and, of course, the romantic villas that have become a favourite among couples.

Georgia & Bangkok Also Among Top Winners

Talking about the next winner, Georgia emerged as the Best Emerging Travel Destination. The place is known for its snow-capped mountains, Black Sea beaches, and ancient valleys. Georgia also has a rich history with several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The place is also known for its culture and amazing food items like khachapuri and khinkali. 

Bangkok, Thailand, won the award for Best City For Tourists, and no, we are not surprised here either. It is one of the easiest cities for not just avid travellers but also for those travelling internationally for the first time. The nightlife is good, and the food is amazing too. Bangkok really offers something for everyone.
