It started in Malvan in 1992, and it came to Mumbai in 2010 when it began as a delivery & take away service. For ₹580, they serve a killer Prawns Thali. The Special Prawns Thali over here consists of 400 gm of prawns served in different varieties. The thali consists of Prawn Masala, Prawn Bhujana, Dry Prawn Salad, Vegetable with dry prawns, Prawn Fry, Sol Kadhi and Prawn Rice.
About Chaitanya
Back in 1992, Malvan started off as a small joint in the Malvan region of Maharashtra and the entire credit goes to Mitra ji and his parents. His parents started the stall that served seafood thalis. Their food would leave the patrons licking their fingers and that’s why they decided to open shop in Mumbai. Starting with a lowkey takeaway and delivery place in Mumbai, today Chaitanya is a popular restaurant that people love to come to.
Chaitanya’s Food
Since seafood is their specialty, their fish is the fresh catch of the day and the patrons have never complained. Curly Tales tried their Special Prawns Thali (₹580) with 8 different prawns dishes, Surmai Fry (as per size), Crab Fry (₹220), Chicken Thali (₹345) and Special Veg Thali (₹350). You’ll find that the food is flavorful and made out of Desi spices only.
