The Internet is truly a fun platform. From any simple anecdote to the biggest stories, this is the place to know everything. And a recent AirAsia flight ticket incident is making rounds on social media and Netizens cannot get enough of it; thanks to the Internet. Anything between A-Z is now digitalized from grocery shopping to booking movie tickets. Though doing things online is easy-peasy and can be done in the comfort of one’s home, technical glitches often interfere. And this is what happened here as well.

A Man Books HYD-BLR AirAsia Flight, Ticket Shows Bengaluru-Bengaluru

Twitter user Auditya Venkatesh (@AudiPhotography) faced glitches while booking his AirAsia flight ticket from Hyderabad to Bengaluru. He took to his Twitter handle to share his issues and tagged AirAsia. You can check the post here.

As shown in the screenshot, the destination and arrival terminals are very confusing. Instead of proper names of his departure and destination places, those mention Bengaluru beside the names. It looks like his journey starts from Hyderabad, Bengaluru to Bengaluru, Kolkata.

Also, there are no similarities between the airport codes and the airport names. Under HYD, the airport mentioned is Kempegowda International Airport, and for Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, the code is BLR. All these glitches are surely confusing and to resolve them, Auditya Venkatesh shared this on Twitter.

The Airline Reacted To His Tweet!

AirAsia came to the rescue and replied to the tweet by Auditya Venkatesh. They responded with “Hi Auditya, there might be a technical glitch. Kindly refresh the page and do the fresh booking.” Check the AirAsia response here.

The passenger again tweeted about how the technical glitch did not stop even after refreshing the page. He refreshed again and again but the results were the same all the time. Due to a last-minute change, he ended up booking the flight ticket. Take a look at the tweet here.
