A free climber identified as Adam Lockwood was spotted scaling one of the tallest buildings in the UK without legal permission on September 4. The 21-year-old Adam Lockwood has been scaling some of the world’s tallest buildings and this time it was The Shard in the UK. According to sources, Adam climbed the building on Sunday around 5 am and took a selfie at its summit. Following the incident, Lockwood and two other men who apparently caused chaos were arrested by the Metropolitan Police.
The Situation Was Brought Under Control By Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade, And London Ambulance Service
Adam Lockwood’s scary stunt at The Shard in the UK led to a lot of chaos amongst the general public. And it was only when the Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade, and London Ambulance Service arrived at the scene around 5:45 am, that the situation was brought under control. After the arrest of the notorious free climber, the nearby area of The Shard in the UK was closed off to the public and rail passengers were made to take other exits at the nearby London Bridge station. Sources quoted a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police saying,”Police were called at 05:38hrs on Sunday, 4 September following reports of a climber on the Shard. A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespass. Two other men were both arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance.”
His previous antics have been branded the “height of stupidity”, motivated by “arrogance and a “greed for celebrity”

Onlookers’ Reaction On The UK Incident
Following Lockwood’s arrest in the UK, reports revealed that the free climber has been creating a nuisance by scaling skyscrapers for a long time. People deemed Adam’s stunts as reckless as the climber had no safety and was risking his life throughout. Republic World quoted a railway employee named Dan, who was a witness to the whole incident at The Shard in the UK, saying, “I go to work at 5:50 am (local time), and at that time it was already happening – I think he started climbing at 5:40 a.m. I took the video at 6:45 a.m. and he reached the top at 7 a.m.” Dan also described how half the station had to be closed as the free climber could have fallen in a number of different places. Apparently, Lockwood was arrested around 7:20 a.m.
