Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, Rewarding Spends || Kumar (@rewardingspends) shared his experience of travelling to this Asian country and how he planned his 8-day holiday.

His Japan holiday of 8 days was full of amazing experiences. From witnessing the world-renowned cherry blossom to seeing the famous bullet trains, his itinerary included the best touristy experiences. Costing only about ₹96,000, his plan was inclusive of all, starting from flights to hotels, sightseeing, food, and local travel.

For flying to Japan in February 2024, he booked the flight tickets back in November. Tickets cost him ₹30,000 and booking earlier helped him to save a minimum of ₹25,000. Also, he made some changes to his travel dates for the famous Sapporo Snow Festival.

Spending on food and culinary experiences is another big expenditure on a vacation. On this 8-day trip to Japan, this man spent ₹9,200 on food. While sharing travel hacks, he mentioned how he never looks out for Indian dishes in foreign places. He prefers eating in places visited by locals and eating like them. From miso soup to yakitori, he relished authentic dishes. His favourie is Fruit Sandwiches from Beck’s Coffee.

One of the biggest expenditures on a holiday is accommodation and he mastered this as well. He spent ₹21,400 on stays and properties on these 8 days. From hostels to capsule hotels, he stayed in differnt places.
