The Internet is an interesting place. It gives humans a strange kind of power. One can swim in its vast ocean of knowledge and look for every possible answer to any question that one can ask. Or, you can use it to waste, not just your own time, but everyone else’s as well. Someone decided to do the latter and answer a question no one has ever asked: What happens if you remove everything from your online McDonald’s burger order and place it anyway?

A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) recently took it upon himself to answer a question that no one was in a hurry to answer. What happens when you place a McDonald’s order with “everything removed.”
Hopefully they don’t mess up my order (usually they do) pic.twitter.com/1eOrzyOGpi

In a post made on the micro-blogging website, he shared that he had placed an order with McDonald’s for a triple cheeseburger with everything, including the meat and the buns, removed. In a series of follow-up posts, he unravelled the saga of the Everything Removed Triple Cheeseburger.

The order was placed through Doordash, an American food delivery company, much like Zomato and Swiggy in India. The user revealed that the delivery person reached out to him over chat to confirm whether he had, in fact, ordered an empty bag.

Here Is What Happened When He Placed His Peculiar Order
The goods have arrived and thank goodness they sealed it so Dan didn’t steal my meal pic.twitter.com/cgwlArP8h8

Needless to say, the order struck odd to the delivery person as they would essentially be delivering an empty bag. Thinking that it might be a mistake, they reached out to the user to confirm. After receiving an all-okay from the user, the bag arrived.

And what did he find when he opened the bag? Lo and behold, it was just a burger wrapper in an empty disposable burger container. What was funny, however, was that the container was of Deluxe McCrispy and not Triple Cheeseburger.
The wrapper and…. A McCrispy box???????? I ordered a freaking triple burger not a McCrispy 😡😡 Somehow they still managed to screw up my order (not your fault Dan if you’re reading this) pic.twitter.com/WEsIkXRopu

In the caption, the user wrote that the McDonald’s managed to screw up their order even when they ordered nothing.
I can’t stay silent about this (don’t worry I gave Dan 5 stars) pic.twitter.com/UKAg7NoQ7v
