Manali-Leh Highway Closed

A fresh and heavy snowfall hampered traffic movement in the Lahaul and Spiti districts. The district’s connected roadways have been blocked as a result of this. In the past few days, the main district headquarters, Keylong, has also received snowfall. This is why the Manali-Leh highway had to be closed.

The police said that due to this, the entire district’s traffic came to a standstill. The district’s internal road links were also blocked because of the traffic in the region. The district administration recently advised people to avoid unnecessary travel to the Lahaul and Spiti valleys.
