Manoj Bajpayee Teased His Co-Star, Suraj Sharma, By Calling Him Ang Lee
Manoj’s 2023 film, Gulmohar, had Suraj Sharma, Sharmila Tagore and Kaveri Seth as the lead actors. Suraj Sharma is popularly known for his brilliant role in the film, Life of Pi and it is almost like his identity is deeply linked to this incredible film. While talking about his experience with his co-stars, Manoj mentioned that on the sets, people would tease Suraj very much.
People would randomly call Suraj not by his name but by Ang Lee! Lee was the producer of Life of Pi which was a screen adaptation of Yann Martel’s 2001 novel by the same name. You should watch this amazing film if you haven’t already.

This Film Helped Him Ease Into The Habit Of Abusing In Gangs of Wasseypur
Manoj rose to fame with his iconic portrayal of an evil character in the film Satya. This offered him a lot of films with negative characters. But after this successful film, he got into the habit of cursing a lot. Talk about the reel character’s after-effects off-screen!
We all know that Gangs of Wasseypur’s Sardar abused a lot. It was almost as if he breathed and a galli came out of his mouth! Manoj shared that he wouldn’t abuse as openly but he began abusing regularly after Satya. This in turn helped him in filming for Gangs of Wasseypur which is also a blockbuster.
