Mark Rober, a massive name on YouTube, known for his ingenious inventions, dined with our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani, at our very own Imlee – The Chat Gully. Over copious plates of Pani Puri and Raj Kachori, Mark Rober openly revealed the ultimate tip for creators to stay relevant on YouTube and you better take notes from the legend himself.
Mark Rober Advises Content Creators To Keep Evolving
While talking to Mark Rober, Kamiya Jani asked him how he manages to still stay relevant. Moreover, she asked him about his thoughts on the Indian creator economy. To stay relevant, Rober answers that one needs to keep evolving. Giving his own content as an example, the creator revealed that the content he puts out today is different from what he did years earlier.
So, picking one style and sticking to it wouldn’t be the right thing to do as per Rober, as the audience’s appetite changes over time. Earlier, videos about cats playing the piano would go viral. But now that many people have seen it, Mark Rober explains, it doesn’t work. So, people need to have something else to offer to their followers. Mark recollected attending the YouTube conference where he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. That conference made him realise India’s growing focus on the creator economy.
