Hundreds of people called the Zagreb emergency services for help. The services asked people to be patient, as there were many who needed help. Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomasevic asked the people to call only if they were in a life-threatening situation until the situation came under control.

A terrible storm had hit the city around the same time three years ago. The storm actually brought back the black memories of the one that hit in the past.
Experienced the worst storm in years while streaming in Zagreb today. Several people died here and in Bosnia & Serbia.
It breaks my heart but we can’t make it to Bosnia or Serbia. All trains cancelled. My heart goes out to those affected in these beautiful countries 😢 pic.twitter.com/b3xx8Dglnq
