MasterChef Pankaj Bhadouria Makes Exclusive Pani Ke Pakode Which Is The Best Of Both Dahi Vada & Pani Puri

Dahi Vada and Pani Puri are two of the most flavoursome snacks in India. Although both are pretty different, how about an amalgamation of this unique duo? Yes, you read that right. Recently, MasterChef Pankaj Bhadouria shared a recipe for Pani Ke Pakode on her Instagram. It includes besan vadas or fritters dipped in a pot of Pani puri waala paani.

A rare combination of Dahi Vada and Pani Puri, these super juicy and delicious Pani Ke Pakode will make your heart go gaga. It is a speciality in North Indian states. Soft, spongy fritters, soaked in a flavourful, tangy, and yummy pot of water. It is served with green chutney, tamarind pulp, guava juice, and lots of spices.

Add salt, hing, and water into besan. Stir it nicely, until it turns out into a nice batter. Let it rest for a while. Make small besan fritters out of it. Drain the pakodas in cold water.

Make a flavourful coriander chutney from coriander leaves, ginger, mint leaves, and lemon juice. After the paste is made, add some tamarind paste and guava juice to it. Next, add black salt, chaat masala, chilli flakes, and cumin powder. Mix it well.

Squeeze the fritters nicely to remove excess water. Soak in the prepared water. When completely submerged, serve on a platter. For garnish, you can use chopped onions, coriander leaves, and lemon wedges.
