The age-old ayurvedic recipes of turmeric milk and kadak chai are known to fight many ailments and boost immunity. Recently, McDonald’s India also introduced concoctions inspired by these recipes on its menu to win the hearts of Indians.

Turmeric Latte Infused With The Goodness Of Cardamom

McDonald’s India has added immunity-boosting Turmeric Latte and Masala Kadak Chai to its McCafe menu. These will be available at McCafe outlets run by the West and South franchise of McDonald’s Hardcastle Restaurants. The Turmeric Latte brewed with the goodness of saffron and cardamom will help in battling cough, cold and other diseases. Masala Kadak Chai can relieve stress and help in fighting headaches. At the McCafe outlets, you can enjoy the Turmeric Latte at ₹140 and the Masala Kadak Chai at ₹99.

Celebrity Chef Shares Recipe Of Immunity-Boosting Masala Chai

Earlier, celebrity nutritionist Luke Coutinho had revealed on Instagram that masala chai is an immunity booster. Captioning his post, he wrote, “How many of you enjoy your cup of Indian chai ….it’s an immune booster on its own because of the black tea leaves and all the spices ….until you add all that refined sugar to it …and spoil it ….use jaggery instead or do it plain.” In the post, he shared a recipe of masala chai with cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, clove, black pepper corns, ginger, fennel seeds and loose tea leaves.
