McDonald’s has just unveiled its limited-time dessert offering. It’s new seasonal dessert menu includes an exclusive range of irresistible desserts celebrating the iconic Cadbury Gems. On the new dessert menu, you’ll find Sundae with Gems, McFlurry with Gems, Strawberry Shake with Gems and Chocolate Shake with Gems. This exciting new menu brings together McDonald’s expertise in curating delicious and easy-to-prepare treats with Mondelez’s iconic Gems, which holds a special place in the hearts of Indians for generations.
The McFlurry with Gems and Sundae with Gems come with a melt-in-the-mouth vanilla soft serve base which are then coated with a delicious chocolate dip and hot fudge sauce respectively. The ice cream desserts are finished with a sprinkle of Gems on top. These playful desserts promise to tantalise your taste buds and bring a burst of joy in every bite. Meanwhile, the Chocolate Shake and Strawberry Shake with Gems bring creamy and crunchy textures in perfect balance.
CMO, McDonald’s India (W&S), Arvind R.P. CMO, stated that they were excited to partner with Mondelez to bring innovative and playful ice cream treats to dessert lovers. They believed that a collaboration with Gems, a childhood favourite of many Indians would help create a delightful experience. The Gems-topped Chocolate Shake, Strawberry Shake, McFlurry and Sundae will be available for a limited period at all dine-in and drive-thru McDonald’s outlets in West and South India. They will also be available on McDelivery. This news comes after McD recently announced its launch of a new limited-edition happy meal for adults, replete with a special toy. You can choose from either a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac box. A modern take on the McNugget buddy toys of the 80’s and 90’s, this will bring out your inner child.
