The drive-thru outlet has been opened only 100 meters from Terminal 2 of Mumbai’s international airport. It is opened by McDonald’s India (West and South).

According to a statement from the chain, this will also be the first McDonald’s location in the city to be open around the clock. The 3,000-square-foot outlet at the airport has a McCafe, a dining room, and a takeout counter.

The store’s amenities include a McCafe, a dining room, and a takeout counter. Near the outlet, a separate path (drive-thru lane) has been created so that customers can place their orders without getting out of their cars.

Customers may easily order and enjoy their meals on-the-go thanks to a designated drive-through lane, a customer ordering display board, and other amenities. Four self-ordering kiosks are also available to save clients time.

There are now three McDonald’s locations at Mumbai International Airport’s Terminal 2.

The drive-thru restaurant, which combines convenience, speed, and quality, intends to make customers’ journeys more pleasurable and stress-free, according to managing director of McDonald’s India (W&S), Saurabh Kalra.

He added that they are considering increasing their market share in more western and southern regions, as well as the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

According to Kalra, during the next four to five years, 35 to 40 percent of McDonald’s new outlets will include drive-thrus in large city suburbs and along key thoroughfares. As many as 69 of the 361 eateries it runs throughout 58 locations as of June 2023 are drive-thrus.

Westlife Foodworld, originally Westlife Development, is the owner of McDonald’s India (West and South), which has been run by a division of Westlife Foodworld since 1996. (as per Money Control)
