Microsoft’s New Noida Office Is Inspired By Taj Mahal & It’s Stunning

The new India Development Centre ( IDC) facility of Microsoft India in Noida is an architectural masterpiece. One of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, has inspired the design of this new workspace. The workspace breathtakingly blends the historic culture of India with world-class modern amenities. The state-of-the-art ivory white workspace features arcs, domes, jaali works and traditional motifs on floors, walls and ceilings.

Microsoft has launched its third IDC centre in India at Noida, after Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The new facility is a premier hub for the employees and it looks fancier than a luxury hotel. The design of the workspace has taken inspiration from the Taj Mahal and incorporates arcs, domes and jaali works. According to a News18 report, Rajiv Kumar, managing director at Microsoft India Research & Development has said, “Microsoft NCR workplace represents a critical expansion of our world-class technology talent and exceptional engineering presence in India. Digital Transformation is set to trigger the new frontier of innovation, and the excellent facilities at the Microsoft Noida workplace provide the right environment for shaping the future of the IT industry in this part of the world.”

The Office Is Taking The Internet By Awe

The video and pictures of the new Microsoft office in Noida have absolutely spellbound the netizens. Abhishek Baxi tweeted, “Microsoft’s new office in Noida, the Microsoft India Development Center (IDC), is inspired by the Taj Mahal and looks like a Taj hotel. It’s bathed in ivory white and is punctuated with jaali work, arches, and domed ceilings!” He added, “The murals around the campus have easter eggs built-in. Like a perforated jaali at the entrance with the picture of Bill Gates, which is only visible at certain angles.” Every corner of the office is magnificent and captivating.

Microsoft India R & D has tweeted, “A labour of love & engineering, see how the Taj Mahal has inspired Microsoft’s new engineering hub in NCR. A truly modern and sustainably-built workspace, that’ll house engineering talents in AI, Cloud & Enterprise, Gaming & more.”
