After moving its base from Dubai’s World Trade Centre exhibition halls, this year MEFCC 2023 is scheduled to take place at Abu Dhabi’s National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). For those who aren’t aware, Comic Con is a haven for geeks! Here they can gush about iconic movies, attend workshops, cosplay parades, and even partake in meet and greet with A-list celebrities.

Dates & Tickets For MEFCC 2023

The tickets for a one-day pass start at AED135 and AED299 for a 3-day pass. And these tickets for the event can be purchased on the official mefcc.com website, which is already on sale now. Talking about the dates, this year the Comic Con is happening between March 3 and March 5, 2023.
In fact, VIP tickets are also on sale now, which start at AE700 and include vouchers for autographs & photographs with the stars, fast track, early access, front-row seats, priority queues, and of course, exclusive merch. Not to mention, the stellar Ultimate VIP fan packages, costing AED5000 include a 30-minute encounter with your favourite celebrity (amongst other things)!

Now that all the crucial information about tickets and the event is out of the way, it’s time to spill the beans about the expected celebrity guest list this year. From Jim Hopper of Stranger Things to Matt Smith from House of Dragon, here are a few people that you might come across at MEFCC 2023.
- David Harbour – Also known as Jim Hopper from Stranger Things on Netflix.
- Jamie Campbell Bower – Also from Stranger Things, he plays the role of Vecna. In fact, you may have also seen him in other popular roles, such as Jace in The Mortal Instruments, Caius in Twilight, and the Young Grindelwald.
- May Calamwy – She plays the role of Layla El-Faouly or Scarlet Scarab in MCU’s Moon Knight.
- Anthony Daniels – He was part of the original Star Wars movies
- Matt Smith – You may have come to know him as Dr Who, Daemon Targaryen, Prince Philip, and even Lucien in Morbin Time Universe.
- Mike and Patty Peraza – Disney’s Master artists, their combined filmography includes The Little Mermaid, Duck Tales, Fox And The Hound, Return of OZ, Aladdin, Beauty And The Beast, and Mickey’s Christmas Carol.
- Zach Aguilar – This renowned voice-over artist is known for his performance as Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer and Aether in Genshin Impact.
