The newly launched astronomical guide is part of the agency’s effort to raise awareness of space and astronomy. Coming to the astronomical events, the guide includes solar and lunar eclipses, planetary conjunctions, meteor showers, oppositions, equinoxes and solstices. It aims to provide simplified information and definitions for each event, as revealed by Arab News in its report. As a result, this would enhance understanding and observation.

These Astronomical Events Will Be Visible In Saudi Skies
It should be noted that nine astronomical events have been announced just for 2026! There are 12 for 2027, 14 for 2028, 15 for 2029, and 12 for 2030. As revealed in the guide, it showcases the agency’s efforts to promote knowledge and awareness of space and astronomy. Not to mention, it enhances educational content. Services also include the Knowledge Space Portal that offers accessible content on space science and concepts for students, enthusiasts, researchers, and the wider public.
