1. Emirates To Build A New Cabin Crew Village In Dubai
Emirates announced on Wednesday, January 21st, that it plans to build a new cabin crew village at Dubai Investment Park. This new purpose-built village marks a multi-billion Dirham investment and would support the expanding workforce of the airline. Delivering modern residential and mixed-use communities, these would be designed to house up to 12,000 cabin crew members.
2. Morning Traffic On Key Commuter Routes Between Dubai And Sharjah
The morning traffic was building on the key commuter route between the Emirates of Dubai and Sharjah. As mentioned in the report of the Gulf News, delays were seen on Sheikh Zayed Road (E11). This was particularly around Business Bay and Al Barsha. Not to mention on Al Khail Road (E44), the traffic is moving slowly between Meydan and Ras Al Khor.
3. Republic Day Celebration In Abu Dhabi
India in the UAE mentioned on its official X account that Indian nationals and friends of India have been invited to the flag-unfurling ceremony. This is for the occasion of the 77th Republic Day of India, which is celebrated on January 26th. This year, the unfurling ceremony will take place at the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi from 8 AM to 9 AM.

4. AlUla Unveils Ancient Trade Routes For Camel Caravans
As revealed by the SPA, camel caravans once sustained the commercial and cultural vitality of AlUla. This acted as the primary means of transport and helped to establish ancient networks. The most notable one was the famed Incense Route from southern Arabia to the Levant and Egypt.
