Dubai RTA Adds Four Key Areas To Bus-On-Demand Service
Dubai RTA has revealed in its post on X has added four key areas. Yes, these four key areas have been added to the bus-on-demand service, and they are – Al Qusais, Al Warqa’a, Jumeirah Village Circle, and Dubai Investments Park. To be serviced by a fleet of 49 buses, this underscores the pace of expansion and Dubai RTA’s responsiveness to the population growth. Not to mention, it also shows how the authorities are responding to rising demand for flexible mobility solutions.
The Service Was Previously Available In Several Areas
Before the expansion, the service covered the following areas:
- Al Barsha
- Al Nahda
- Dubai Silicon Oasis
- Dubai Academic City
- Al Rigga
- Port Saeed
- Business Bay
- Downtown Dubai
- Oud Maitha
- Al Karama
- Barsha Heights
- Al Mankhool
- Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)
With the addition of the four new areas, last-mile and first-mile connectivity just got strengthened. It should be noted that the service is built on an innovative operating model, which enables bookings through the Dubai bus-on-demand smart app. Customers can easily select their pick-up and drop-off points. They can also get access to the service within a short time.

The service plays an important role when it comes to supporting first-mile and last-mile connectivity. The service offers rides at a flexible and affordable fare of AED5 per trip and AED4 for each additional rider. With Dubai RTA offering launch fee promotions, you can expect free trips for a limited period. This aims to encourage the public to experience the service.
