Dubai RTA has announced service timings for the New Year’s holiday, January 1st, 2026. Yes, they announced how the timings for Customer Happiness Centres, paid public parking facilities, and public bus services have been revised. Here’s all you need to know about the operational hours, as mentioned by the authority.
Dubai RTA Announces Service Timings
Dubai RTA has mentioned that customer centres will be closed during the New Year’s holiday, which is January 1st, 2026. However, the Smart Customer Happiness Areas, which are in Al Barsha, Al Twar, Al Kifaf, and the RTA Headquarters, will continue to operate 24 hours as they usually do. Additionally, service provider centres, as mentioned in a report of Dubai Media Office, will also be closed during the New Year’s holiday. The official working hours will begin on Friday, January 2nd, 2026.

Changes In Public Bus Services As Well

It should be noted that the public bus services will see some changes in their schedule for the New Year’s holiday on January 1st. However, you must refer to the s’hail app to get full details about the same. It is, however, worth mentioning that the bus route E100 will not be operational from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station from the afternoon of December 31st. The last trip will depart at 12 PM from Abu Dhabi and at 2 PM from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, and services will continue to remain suspended until January 4th, 2026. So, passengers are advised to use bus route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi during the period.

Free Public Parking Space
Finally, the Dubai RTA also announced that the public parking will remain free of charge on January 1st, 2026. However, this does not extent to multi-storey parking facilities and Al Khail Gate N-365. The parking phase will return on Friday, January 2nd, 2026.
Coming to the Dubai Marine Transport, they have also announced a change in the Abra timings. So, you might want to refer to the official website of the Dubai RTA if you wish to know about the timings for Abra, Dubai Ferry, water taxi, and other charter services.
