Mwasalat Announces Free Open-Top Bus Ride In Muscat On This Day
An initiative, which is being operated by the national transport provider, Mwasalat, offers a unique opportunity to explore Muttrah’s Waterfront on open-top buses. Yes, this is a free sightseeing bus service that would be operating along one of the most scenic coastal routes of Muscat.
It’s For World Public Transport Day
The service will run on Friday, which is April 17th, 2026. The service will run between 4 PM and 8 PM, and it will start from the Fish roundabout in Muttrah and end at the National Museum of Oman.
At this point, it’s worth mentioning that the route will be passing through the iconic Muttrah Corniche, and it will offer passengers a panoramic view of the sea, city life and the historic harbour. However, the offer doesn’t just end there.

Unlimited Bus Rides In Muscat And Salalah On April 17th
By collaborating with the Ministry of Transport, there will also be unlimited free bus rides in Muscat and Salalah. All the routes in Muscat and Salalah are covered under this fantastic offer.
