Lulu Group has opened a new hypermarket in Madinah Al-Munawwarah near the Haramain Train Station, its second store in the holy city and 79th across Saudi Arabia. Spanning roughly 95,000 square feet across two floors, the store carries groceries, fresh food, electronics and home essentials, serving pilgrims, residents and visitors alike. Lulu Chairman Yusuffali M.A. tied the opening to Saudi Vision 2030’s economic and job-creation goals, noting the group’s four stores now operating within the Holy Sites.
2. Kuwait Kicks Off Its Seasonal Vaccination Drive
The Ministry of Health has launched its annual winter vaccination campaign, offering flu and pneumococcal shots at dozens of health centres and hospitals nationwide. Officials are urging the elderly, young children, pregnant women, and people with chronic conditions to get vaccinated early, noting that seasonal respiratory illnesses typically climb from mid-September through the winter months and peak between October and March.
