1. Abu Dhabi Shuts Musaffah Restaurant Over Violations

The Abu Dhabi food safety authorities have acted against a restaurant in the Musaffah Industrial Area. After inspectors noted recurring food safety breaches, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority closed Index Restaurant LLC. The officials stated that the issues potentially threatened the health of the people.
The government assured that the restaurant will not be allowed to open until it corrects the problems and satisfies all the food safety standards.

2. UAE President Visits Patients Injured in Regional Unrest

In the meantime, the UAE President visited patients who had been injured during the recent tension in the region. Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan paid a visit to patients under treatment at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. During the visit, he addressed patients and their families, congratulated them on their speedy recovery and thanked medical teams for their efforts and care.

3. UK Evacuation Flight Finally Reaches London

Beyond the Gulf, foreign nationals caught in the tensions in the region are being evacuated.
A government-chartered plane with British nationals trapped in the Middle East arrived at Stansted Airport almost 24 hours late.
The flight, which was carried out by Titan Airways, flew out of Muscat and had a fueling stop at Egypt before arriving in the United Kingdom.

4. Kazakhstan Issues Travel Warning For The Middle East

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of Kazakhstan has advised its citizens to delay any visits to some countries in the area. Cited reasons included the continued military presence and airspace constraints as reasons behind the advisory. Destinations that are covered under the warning include the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The government urged tourists to postpone their visits until the situation of security situation is calmed down.

5. Kuwait Sets Limits For Religious Gatherings

Kuwait authorities have proposed regulations about religious holidays. The Kuwait Ministry of Interior granted specific Husseiniyah locations the right to hold 30-minute events in remembrance of the martyrdom of Ali ibn Abi Talib. Meetings should remain indoors and be conducted under severe safety measures. Before conducting the rituals, the organisers are also required to sign a formal pledge.
