1. Jazeera Airways Is Operating From T5 Of Kuwait International Airport
Jazeera Airways, which is a low-cost airline from Kuwait, has resumed commercial flights. Yes, they have resumed operations from T5 of Kuwait International Airport. This has been done after receiving full security clearance. The development comes as air travel gradually returns to normal in the country.
2. Smart Parking System Announced By Q Mobility
Smart Parking System has been announced by Q Mobility across public multi-storey car parks in Abu Dhabi. As it happens, it came under the regulatory supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility). For the unversed, it is an affiliate of the Department of Municipalities and Transport. With the new system, automatic parking fee payments get directly enabled through users’ Darb digital wallets.
3. UAE To Experience Dusty Weather
The UAE is set to experience dusty weather along with strong winds. This has been predicted by the NCM for the upcoming days. And for today, it has predicted generally fair weather, with the dust expected to blow at times.
4. UAE Declares June 15th As Holiday For Islamic New Year
MoHRE announces Monday, 15 June 2026, as a paid public holiday for UAE private sector employees to mark the Hijri New Year. Official working hours resume on Tuesday, 16 June.

The UAE has declared that Monday, June 15th, would be a public holiday. This is for employees in both private and public sectors on the occasion of the Islamic New Year. As a result, it would be a three-day-long weekend. It was confirmed on June 3rd by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

5. Oman’s Food Safety & Quality Centre Issue Safety Warning
Oman’s Food Safety and Quality Centre has issued a formal safety warning. As revealed by Muscat Daily, this is regarding the ‘GODIVA Kunafah & Pistachio Milk Chocolate Bar’. The manufacturer has initiated a recall after finding an undeclared egg ingredient in the product.
