As revealed in a report of the Arabian Business, Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has issued this ‘no tolerance’ warning. This was issued in a public awareness notice by the ministry. In this notice, the authority details penalties that are linked to the violations at 150 km/h, 170 km/h and 200 km/h. It is a part of the ministry’s effort to enhance road safety enforcement in the country.
What Are Penalties?
As announced by the ministry, residents who are caught committing these speed violations can face deportation from Kuwait. Not to mention this would be in addition to the vehicle impoundment and traffic violation. Coming to the penalties, they are as follows.
If a citizen is caught exceeding the speed limit at 150 km/h they will face

If they are caught violating at 170 km/h, the penalty would include

Detention, which would pend legal procedures

If they’re caught violating at 200 km/h, the citizens would have to face
