A Five-Day Weekend For Eid Al Etihad?
At this point, it’s worth mentioning that it’s possible that the National Day weekend can also be turned into a five-day weekend. Well, this may happen as Eid Al Etihad falls on December 2nd, which is a Tuesday. With the next day also declared as an official holiday, it is possible that the local governments might declare Monday, which is December 1st, as an extra public holiday. So, if this happens, people will be in for a five-day weekend, after all, many places offer Saturday and Sunday as holidays as well.
With celebrations happening across the emirate to commemorate national occasions, it’s truly bound to capture the true significance of these occasions and instil national pride.
