Thunderstorms and rainfall swept through Abu Dhabi after weeks of intense heat. As a result, parks and beaches were temporarily closed. And now it has reopened with some safety guidelines. The municipality has asked residents and visitors to prioritise their safety and swim only at designated beaches. This comes after approved safety guidelines and instructions. These chances of rain may continue until Sunday, especially over eastern areas, so people have been asked to take note of the weather before stepping out.
