1. Eggs Recalled In USA Not Sold In The UAE

The UAE authorities have confirmed that eggs recalled in the USA after an outbreak of Salmonella are not sold in the UAE. Giving assurance to consumers, this follows a review of import records and local market data. This review was conducted after authorities in the USA found that illnesses in the Salmonella outbreak were partly linked to shell eggs, which were recalled by Midwest Poultry Services.

2. Holy Quran Museum Showcases Rare Quranic Manuscript

A rare Quranic manuscript: a page from a Quran dating back to the third century AH, was on display at the Holy Quran Museum at the Hira Cultural District in Makkah. The manuscript showcased is a part of Surah Maryam, and it has been written on parchment in red ink.
