The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the Umrah season calendar for the year 1448 AH. It is a part of the preparation to receive pilgrims who are coming from outside Saudi Arabia. Here is all you need to know about the Umrah season calendar for the new year.
Umrah Calendar Announced For 1448 AH
The new calendar of lines operational stages, as revealed in a report of Gulf News. Not to mention, it also reveals deadlines for Umrah companies, external agents, and pilgrims before the upcoming season. As revealed by the report, preliminary agreements between Umrah companies and overseas agents began on March 4th, 2026. This was followed by the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum, with signals the initial agreements on March 30th.
Permits Available From June
As of now, the ministry has mentioned that service provider contracts and package designs are being completed. This is being done through the electronic platform ahead of the start of the visa issuance on May 31st. This corresponds to the Ziyarah Forum. As per the calendar, pilgrims who hold an Umrah visa can enter Mecca and receive the permits from June 1st, 2026.

Saudi Arabia Launches Masar Nusuk Platform
The schedule sets March 9th 2027, as the final deadline for the issuance of Umrah Visa. March 23rd would be the last date for the pilgrims’ entry into Saudi Arabia. It should be noted that this calendar is a part of the wider effort for streamlining procedures and improving the experience of the pilgrims for Umra. This is done through advanced systems and integrated operational services.
Recently, Saudi Arabia also launched the Masar Nusuk platform for streamlining the Umrah permit for the new season. Yes, the platform offers digital services for qualifying external agents and finalising of contracts. It should be noted that this move is a part of the broader digital ecosystem, which aims to automate contracting procedures. Not to mention, it also aims to improve operational efficiency and strengthen the readiness of the Umrah sector.
