Yes, it is named after the iconic Bollywood heartthrob, Shah Rukh Khan himself. An actual skyscraper named after one of the biggest movie stars on the planet.

Prices for units start at around ₹4 crore, and because it’s Danube, the famous 1% payment plan is on the table. Now we know why it’s the talk of the town! That alone is enough to make investors lean forward, but add in the potential for a 10-year Golden Visa for eligible buyers..
And yes, SRK showed up for the big moment. The launch took place in Mumbai, where Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group, made the announcement.
A Landmark Built For Business
Set for completion in 2029, Shahrukhz isn’t just another shiny tower gracing the Dubai skyline. The tower spans more than 1 million sq ft and comes with over 40 amenities. It includes sky pool, exclusive business lounges, valet service, and even a helipad for future air taxis. Dubai is clearly preparing for a world where people finish meetings and then casually fly home.
And let’s talk about that entrance. A full-blown statue of Shah Rukh Khan in his classic arms-wide-open pose will greet visitors. The location is another win: minutes from the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Airport, and even the Gold Souk.

As mentioned in a report by Hindustan Times, Rizwan Sajan, at the launch event, said something that stuck: both he and Shah Rukh started their journeys 33 years ago, chasing big dreams with nothing but grit. SRK echoed the sentiment, calling the honour “humbling” and saying that Dubai has always felt like a city built on ambition.
