Sharjah is getting its first women-only beach park. This is located in Dibba Al Hisn, and it is set to be inaugurated this week. This is the first in a series of dedicated coastal spaces that would be designed to offer privacy and high-quality amenities to women. Sharjah To Get Its First Women-Only Beach
As mentioned in a report of the Gulf News, Sharjah is getting its first women-only beach park this week. This project is being overseen by the Sharjah Public Works Department. As a part of a directive by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, who is the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, this covers a total area of 6,350 m². The plan is to establish three fully serviced ladies-only beaches. Not to mention, similar developments are also underway in Kalba and Khorfakkan.

Reaffirming Sharjah’s commitment towards creating inclusive recreational environments, these are being tailored in such a way that it respects cultural considerations and also enhance quality of life. A model project, it features a fully enclosed layout so that there is complete privacy. It is surrounded by a three-metre-high perimeter fence and also includes a 200-metre rock breakwater and protective barrier. Together, they shield the beach from external visibility and mitigate the impact of the waves.
It should be noted that the beachfront is supported by a two-wing facility. fitness Centre, a cafe, a creative activity hall, administrative offices, a prayer room, a clinic, and guard rooms. Moreover, there is also a range of supporting services that have been designed to offer an integrated environment for sports, social, and leisure activities.

The Beach May Begin Operations This Week Or The Next
This project is part of the marine safety measures, so there are also two lifeguard towers. Moreover, with designated bathing areas and service rooms, one can be assured that there is a secure and well-managed environment for visitors. It is expected that the beach may begin its operation by the end of this week or maybe next week. However, with the new destination open for women who are seeking leisure and wellness, this place is absolutely a must-visit, and you might want to drop by when it opens soon.
