There are many scammers out there who are out to steal your money. And the latest financial fraud that has been gaining momentum is card skimming. What Is Card Skimming?

Card skimming is a kind of scam that involves a traditional skimmer, as mentioned in a report by Khaleej Times. This is a device which physically goes into the card machine, either at a store or even an ATM. As a result, it alters the machine in such a way that it places a hidden camera, which catches sensitive information. Now, digital skimming is also on the rise. As a result, it is carried over the internet, which makes it even more difficult to detect.

A growing problem, digital skimming is on the rise as digital payments are being made across different kinds of purchases. This is a big problem as cyber criminals don’t need to use stolen cards right away. They can just sit on them for weeks and months, making small payments, which would make it difficult to detect. How To Avoid Such Scams?
