3. Traveller Cash Limit Raised To USD10,000 By Egyptian Banks
Recently, Egyptian banks raised the foreign currency cash withdrawal limit for travellers to USD10,000. This is a rise from the previous cap of USD2,000 to USD5,000. With the new ceiling in place at the National Bank of Egypt, Bank Misr, and Commercial International Bank.

4. Luxor African Film Festival Open Film Submissions
It was revealed that the 15th African Film Festival has opened its application for films. Yes, the application for the 15th edition of this film festival is now open. The festival is expected to run from March 30 to April 5 in Southern Egypt’s Luxor. However, the filmmakers have only until November 25, 2025 to submit their work, which should not have previously been in Egypt.
5. Buraidah Date Carnival Launches Dates Diplomacy
Buraidah Date Carnival recently launched its pioneering initiative. Called Dates Diplomacy, this is the first global diplomatic programme, which is in the field of dates. Boosting international cooperation, it highlights the nation’s support for the power and dates sector. Not to mention, the aim is to introduce some ambassadors and diplomatic missions to the activities of the carnival.
