The national digital platform, Tawakkalna in Saudi Arabia, is offering Hajj-related government services. The best bet? These are available in 19 languages for pilgrims and workers. This is for the 1447H Hajj season, and it is a part of a wide range of efforts towards improving pilgrimage experiences. This is done through advanced digital solutions, and here’s all you need to know about this.

Tawakkalna Offers Government Services In 19 Languages!

With the government services available in 19 languages for pilgrims and workers, this initiative aims to strengthen integration between government service entities during Hajj. It guides the pilgrims throughout their journey, including everything from arrival in the kingdom and Mecca to their departure back home and their visits to the holy sites in between.

Talking about the language, the app supports the following languages:

It should be noted that pilgrims can access a range of services through the platform. This includes Hajj permits that are linked to the unified digital Hajj permit platform, Tasreeh. Not to mention, permits related to entering Mecca, work authorisation permits, and volunteer permits are also included.

As mentioned in a report of the Gulf News, Tawakkalna has been designed in such a way that it becomes a trusted digital companion. Yes, pilgrims are supported by daily movement, and they are offered a smoother and safer digital experience during Hajj and visits to Medina. Through the app, users can also book visits to Al Rawdah Al Sharifah. This is done through a gateway service that has been integrated into the platform.

There are other additional services that are offered on the platform, which include multilingual access to the Arafah sermon, an emergency assistance service called Assefni, Qibla direction, prayer times, digital Quran services, and live weather updates.

Currently, the platform offers over 1,300 services which is in cooperation with more than 350 government entities. These are across sectors, which include health, education, tourism, justice, and professional services.
