Boo Boo Laand, the indoor family entertainment spot that already made a name for itself in Dubai, is opening its first location in the capital next month. The new venue will open inside The Galleria on Al Maryah Island and promises plenty for children to climb, explore, play and probably refuse to leave afterwards.
Boo Boo Laand Is Opening In Abu Dhabi This August And Kids Will Love It
Indoor play spaces are nothing new in the UAE. But families are always on the lookout for places that offer more than a few slides and soft mats. That’s where this one hopes to stand out.
For many families, weekends often turn into a search for activities that keep children busy without involving screens.
The new venue is expected to bring together different kinds of attractions under one roof. There will be active play areas, spaces designed around imagination and role play, and plenty of hands-on activities aimed at different age groups.
Parents Will Soon Have Another Weekend Option
Exactly what each attraction will include hasn’t been revealed yet. But if the Dubai branch is anything to go by, visitors can probably expect a colourful and energetic space with lots happening at once. And yes, parents may need to prepare for the classic “five more minutes” negotiations before heading home.
The Galleria Keeps Growing As A Family Destination
The Galleria has slowly become more than a shopping destination over the years, adding restaurants, entertainment venues and activities that appeal to families spending an entire day out rather than just a quick shopping trip.
Adding a large indoor attraction aimed at children fits naturally into that mix.
Also, with Abu Dhabi summers still in full swing by August, an indoor venue is likely to be welcomed by plenty of parents looking for air-conditioned ways to entertain energetic youngsters.
Dubai Success Is Now Heading To The Capital
The brand’s first UAE location opened in Dubai and quickly attracted families looking for something different from traditional play centres.
That said, Abu Dhabi residents have often had to make the drive to Dubai to experience attractions that arrive there first.

Families Won’t Need To Wait Much Longer
The opening is planned for August 2026 at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island.
An exact launch date hasn’t been announced, but we are expecting the details to be out soon. For many kids, the countdown has probably already started.
