The Museum of the Moon has been an annual tradition since 2020. It has become one of the most anticipated experiences at OliOli, and it is returning from May 15th to 31st this year. This year’s edition will be opening on the day dedicated to celebrating families around the world.

A 5-Metre Replica Of Moon

There’s a 5-metre replica of the moon that stands as the centre of the exhibition. This has been created using detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. It is suspended in a dark space, and the glowing sculpture makes visitors take a pause, look up, and experience the wonder of the celestial body.

It should be noted that this exhibition also features a curated display of photographs from NASA’s Artemis II mission. These images bring visitors close to the ongoing journey to the moon. Younger visitors will be able to explore interactive light boxes filled with sand. They can draw, create patterns and even play beneath the glow of the moon. This is a hands-on activity, which has become a favourite across past editions.
