After two editions at Meydan Racecourse, the Dubai T100 Triathlon is heading somewhere far more scenic. The Professional Triathletes Organisation, Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, and Dubai Sports Council have confirmed Al Mamzar as the new home for the race weekend, running November 13 to 15. It’s the penultimate stop on the nine-race T100 Race to Qatar, and honestly, the new venue looks like it was made for this.

Part Of Dubai Fitness Challenge’s Tenth Year

The bike course sends athletes out through Al Hamriya Port and the Dubai Islands before climbing onto the Infinity Bridge, where they’ll ride past Port Rashid and the Queen Elizabeth 2, with the Dubai Frame and Burj Khalifa rising in the background, before looping back to Al Mamzar. The run leg takes over from there, weaving through the shaded paths of Al Mamzar Park and its newly opened corniche footpath.

The T100 weekend once again folds into Dubai Fitness Challenge, the citywide 30×30 initiative running this year from October 31 to November 29. It’s a milestone edition too, marking ten years since Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed launched the challenge back in 2017, and the T100 weekend’s mix of elite racing and open-to-all events sits right at the centre of it. There’s also something new for amateurs this year: the Dubai T100 programme is introducing relay options for both the T100 and Sprint distances, plus a fresh Olympic distance option (1.5km swim, 40km bike, 10km run) for anyone stepping up from Sprint or chasing a personal best.

Women’s Racing Takes Centre Stage

Following a shake-up in the competition format, male and female professionals will each race four individual T100 weekends before converging on the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final on December 10-12, with each athlete’s best three scores plus the final counting toward the title. PTO CEO Sam Reneouf has described Al Mamzar as offering one of the most varied backdrops on the calendar, while Dubai Sports Council’s Saeed Hareb pointed to the event’s growing pull among both elite athletes and amateur participants from across the UAE and beyond. Registration for all amateur races is open now at t100triathlon.com/dubai/participate.
