8. Brahms Reimagined
Classical music takes an unexpected turn with Brahms Reimagined, an evening that pairs a celebrated violin concerto with a bold orchestral transformation. Conductor Wilson Ng, newly appointed Fellow Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, leads the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, joined by acclaimed violinist Esther Yoo for Brahms’ Violin Concerto in D Major. The programme then shifts gears with Brahms’ Piano Quartet in G Minor, reimagined as a full orchestral work through Arnold Schoenberg’s ambitious arrangement.
